Black mold caused my asthma?

April 2007 Me and my son (18 months) had a physical fact. We both had a clean bill of health. We moved in June 2007 to an apartment to find later in was infested with mold. I had told him repeatedly to do something about it and he just brush me or say "bleach." Because of their negligence and ignorance I guess our health has suffered considerably. Between June and December, my son has had three severe lung infections and in December 2007 two were diagnosed with asthma. moved in June 2008, is now seeking to sue the owner for loss of enjoyment of life (having to live with asthma for the rest of our lives. Anyone have any advice on how to start this case whereabouts. I have medical documentation to support that before he moved well and there were then we have asthma. Also I have pictures of black mold.
